The right to disconnect in Australia:

Picking up what you can put down

8 Feburary 2024

On Wednesday 6 March 2024 the ASU will host a lunchtime CPD webinar for our legal members.

Our guest presenter will be Dr Gabrielle Golding, Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Adelaide.

The right to disconnect is set to dramatically shift the ways in which we conduct work in our constantly connected society. Dr Gabrielle Golding will discuss the right from an Australian perspective (along with some international comparisons), the latest legislative developments surrounding it, how it is necessary for both employers and employees, as well as practical steps both employers and employees can take in order to uphold it.

The CPD will be held online on Wednesday 6 March 12.30pm (SA), 11.30am (NT) with a run time of 90 minutes.

To register, please email [email protected].

This CPD is only open to ASU members so please encourage your colleagues to join the ASU.
